自2000年返台以來，於表演舞台上表現傑出，並活躍於國內外歌劇、神劇、藝術歌曲等演唱領域，近期演出包括馬勒第二號交響曲（高雄市立交響樂團），貝多芬第九號交響曲（台北愛樂管弦樂團）獨唱會《唱首微醺的小曲》，國家交響樂團《風流寡婦》，臺北市立國樂團《我的媽媽欠栽培》，台北愛樂《彌賽亞》（三大神劇計劃），NSO《莫札特安魂曲》，獨唱會《從瞬間到永恆》，NSO歌劇《帕西法爾》，台北愛樂管弦樂團《女人皆如此》，NSO探索頻道《我討厭音樂！？》，《歌劇裡的動物明星》主講及演唱，創世歌劇團《卡門》，2017年臺中國家歌劇院《女武神》，NSO歌劇《浦契尼：三聯劇》，NSO焦點講座演唱者，三月，NSO《英雄再起》，演出當代知名作曲家Brett Dean新作《哈姆雷特狂想》（亞洲首演），澳門聲樂節獨唱會《黃昏到黎明》，台灣聲樂家協會《莎士比亞200週年音樂會》，NSO《焦點系列》演出俄國歌劇和藝術歌曲，與法國鋼琴家格朗戎一同演出法國室內樂作品，對位室內樂團《調皮的野玫瑰》，英國藝術歌曲獨唱會《從黃昏到黎明》，由曾道雄教授作曲導演的古裝歌劇《鄭莊公涉泉會母》飾演母后武姜等等，林慈音與重要藝文單位合作頻繁，包括國家交響樂團(NSO)，台北市立交響樂團(TSO)，國立臺灣交響樂團(NTSO)，高雄市立交響樂團(KSO)，長榮交響樂團(ESO)，台北愛樂合唱團等等，曲目包括孟德爾頌《仲夏夜之夢》，巴赫聖誕神劇，馬勒二號《復活》，歌劇《納克索斯島上的阿麗雅德妮》飾演愛克，《費黛里歐》（蕾歐諾拉和瑪彩琳娜），李子聲室內歌劇《江文也與兩位夫人》；指揮家瑞霖大師的《以利亞》《馬太受難曲》《聖誕神劇》，佛瑞《安魂曲》、貝多芬《C大調彌撒》、莫札特《C小調彌撒》、古諾《莊嚴彌撒》、韓德爾《彌賽亞》，馬勒《第四號交響曲》、孟德爾頌《第二號交響曲》和《詩篇42篇》等等；歌劇演出包括《丑角》、《頑童與魔法》，《霍夫曼的故事》、《糖果屋》、馬斯內歌劇《莎孚》亞洲首演、《唐．喬望尼》、《茶花女》、《女武神》、《萊茵黃金》、《女人皆如此》、《強尼‧史基基》、《夢遊女》、《魔笛》、《黛朵與艾涅斯》等等。

2016年獲選為國立台灣藝術大學傑出校友。

Grace Lin graduated from the Royal Academy of Music in London with performance diploma with distinction. She has become one of the most sought-after soprano and has performed with major orchestras and music organizations in Taiwan. Most recently She sang Beethoven 9th symphony with Taipei Philharmonic Orchestra, a recital of contemporary cabaret songs. She was invited by NSO to perform a contemporary chamber work by Brett Dean -“ And once I played Ophelia”. She also sang as Hanna in NSO’s production of "Die lustige Witwe".

Past concert performances include Mahler symphony no.2 with Taipei Civic Symphony Orchestra. Haydn "The Creation", with Taipei Philharmonic foudation. A modern opera "My mom needs an education" with Taipei Chinese Orchestra, Handel "Messiah" with NSO, Mozart Requiem (NSO), Mendelssohn : A Midsummer Night’s dream and St. Paul, Elias (with Maestro Lü and Helmut Rilling) and Symphony no.2 “Lobgesang”. Rossini: Petite Messe Solenelle. Mozart : Requiem and C Minor Mass. Faure: Requiem. Mahler symphony no.4, and etc.

Major opera performances include: Cosi fan tutte (Fiordiligi, Dorabella), Don Giovanni (Donna Anna), Die Zauberflöte (Pamina), Carmen (Michaela), Suor Angelica (Genovieffa), Pagliacci (Nedda), Die Walküre (Helmwige, Gehilde), Das Rheingold (Woglinde), Ariadne auf Naxos (Echo), Fidelio (Leonore, Marzelline), Le conte d’Hoffman (Antonia), Gianni Schicchi (Lauretta), Massenet: Sapho (Sapho), and etc.
